The answer to this question is one that always seemingly stumps everyone at one point or another. When is it time to do something you’ve always wanted to do? Or what about when you know what you don’t want but you don’t know what you do want? It can become a sticky situation.
I’ve been noticing the people in my world are all going through some kind of transition. Whether they are marrying, divorcing, changing jobs, having the best time of their life or the worst time—either way we are all at a turning point.
I’ve been talking to a lot of people who have left their “jobs” to pursue greater happiness. And all I can say to that is, it’s now or never. So many of us wait until the perfect time—when the bills are paid off, before we have children, after we are done having children, when I make six figures, when I lose 10lbs, when I organize my closet….and so on.
Well, I’m here to be a little bit in your face about it. If you’ve been feeling like you have either been wanting to LET GO or TAKE ON something…do it. Now. There is no better time than right now and all you need is 100% trust in yourself that no matter what, you have the ability to make anything possible.
Now, I’m not saying that every time I want something I JUMP into action and do it, otherwise I would definitely have a pet giraffe right now…
But when you allow something that doesn’t serve you to occupy so much of your life over a long period of time, you become stuck-physically, mentally & spiritually. Uncertainty is the best because it allows you take the time to ask yourself, what is it that I REALLY want? And especially when you F up in a BIG way…and we have ALL been there at one time or another.
Today marks the beginning of my transition phase. I gave my notice at my day job and I will be FULLY invested in my fitness studio and in creating the life I want! It’s been LONG overdue. I have no idea what waits for me on the other side, but I’m ready to find out.
Remember that with GOD all things are possible, they left nothing out there. ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE.
There is a hallway with 2 doors. Think of your transition as the hallway, that in-between energy. One is where you came from and one is into the unknown of where you are going. If you know where you are is not where you want to be, step into that place of transition. Allow yourself to experience it even in the feeling of uncertainty. What is behind the other door just might lead you to a wonderful new journey, and if it doesn’t, simply choose another door.
